Perfluorononylethyl Stearyl Dimethicone. Fluorosil® L118 by Siltech is a fluorinated and alkylated silicone. It provides gloss, softness, excellent lubricity and emolliency properties to personal care products. The fluoro pendant offers excellent softness and slip while the alkyl pendant groups make it more compatible with many organic systems. Fluorosil® L118 is used in augment moisturizers, lotions, cosmetics, antiperspirants and deodorants. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
