PROTEOL™ APL

Sodium cocoyl apple amino acids. Proteol™ APL by Seppic acts as an anionic surfactant, dispersing and foaming agent. It is an acylate of characteristic amino acids from apple juice. It is soluble in water and gives acidic solution of pH 5.5. It is biodegradable, non-irritant, sulphate- and preservative-free composition. Offers gentle as well as fruity sensation and long-lasting foam stability. It displays higher foaming power than other anionic surfactants and adds extra mildness to all foaming formulas. Proteol™ APL helps to prevent dryness while preserving the integrity of the skin barrier and in combination with SLES, it limits the transepidermal water loss. It is used in cleansing formulas for sensitive skins, shampoos, shower gels, micellar waters, facial cleansers, make-up, sun-care and foaming products (transparent or white). Meets China regulatory status : SFDA 2007 and 2010.
