C21-28 Alkane. EMOSMART™ C28 by SEPPIC acts as an emollient. It is a readily biodegradable alkane of synthetic origin. It is inert and non-polar oil. Exhibits compatibility with esters, vegetable and mineral oils. Offers a broad sensory pallete from nude skin to extra-comfortable afterfeel. It has light texture, extra-comfortable afterfeel. It can be easily formulated and stabilized in very extreme condition (pH, oxydizing/reducing media, ...). EMOSMART™ C28 is suggested for use in skin care, hair care, make-up, sun care, cleanser, make-up remover, depilatory, deodorant, hair color, etc.
