SalSphere® Healthy Scalp by Salvona Technologies acts as an anti-redness active. It is a time release delivery system designed to aid in the relief of itchy scalp and reduces the appearance of scaly, flaky skin. It employs a unique delivery system, designed to be compatible with commercial hair care products, which will slowly release the SA over time from sub-micron spheres. Sub-micron spheres with a hydrophobic core and hydrophilic shell encapsulate the SA and suspend it in an aqueous medium. Once applied to skin, the hydrophilic outer shell anchors the sphere to the scalp while the hydrophobic matrix gradually breaks down into the skin and releases the SA, in a controlled manner, over time. Recommended for rinse-off products such as body wash, shampoos and conditioners.
