SalSphere® BPO

Water (and) Benzoyl Peroxide (and) Hydroxyethyl Behenamidopropyl Dimonium Chloride (and) Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Extract (and) Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax. SalSphere® BPO by Salvona Technologies is a targeted delivery system for benzoyl peroxide (BPO) to be used as an antibacterial agent for treatment of mild acne, including blackheads. This encapsulated form of BPO offers major advantages over free (non-encapsulated) BPO in terms of stability, shelf life, release kinetics, skin tolerance, and overall efficacy. It adheres to the blackhead and partitions within the lipids while releasing the encapsulated BPO. Since the BPO is encapsulated at a 25% load within the spheres, the effect is targeted to the area where the BPO is needed the most. Used in acne lotion, blackhead treatment, spot treatments, facial wash, day and night treatments. SalSphere® BPO has a shelf life of 36 months.
