MultiSal™ Salicylic Acid 30

Salicylic Acid (and) Polyquaternium-67 (and) Glyceryl Stearate (and) Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine (and) Zea Mays (Corn) Starch (and) Hydrolyzed Corn Starch (and) Hydrolyzed Corn Starch Octenylsuccinate. MultiSal™ Salicylic Acid 30 by Salvona Technologies is a controlled delivery system which reduces blemishes and helps revitalize, invigorate, and beautify the skin. This multi-layer technology is based on double encapsulation of SA. The acid is contained in tiny sub-micron spheres which are then re-encapsulated into larger microspheres. The wall of the microsphere ruptures when the product is rubbed into the skin in the presence of water. At this point the sub-micron spheres are released and deposited onto the skin. The cationic charge of the surface of the shell provides superior adhesion onto the skin. This benefit makes it a valuable technology for products that are rinsed off. Double encapsulation negates the efficacy of SA as a powerful acne or exfoliation treatment. MultiSal™ Salicylic Acid 30 is used in soap bar, skin care, scalp care, foot care, facial masks, body powder, make-up and cosmetics.
