Polycitronellol Acetate (49%) (and) Undecane (35%) (and) Tridecane (16%). Citropol® V5 by P2 Science acts as a high performance emollient. It is a “Clean Label”, long-lasting, non-greasy, slippery ingredient having very low E-factor. It imparts less build-up as compared to silicone D5. It is inherently biodegradable according to the OECD 301B biodegradability test. It offers distinct volatility and spreadability thus a viable clean alternative to non-volatile dimethicone-5 in cosmetics and personal care applications. It is a bio-based, non-GMO and gluten-, preservative-, paraben-, phthalate- and sulfate-free grade. It is free of food and fragrance allergens. It is suggested for shower gel, shampoo, hair styling products, body lotion, face cream, hand cream, liquid foundation and lipstick/ lip balm. It is also used in skin care, hair care, non-spray (roll-on stick) deodorant and deodorant spray. It is suitable for the formulation of high-performing, renewable, biodegradable products when used as low as 1%. Citropol® V5 is Vegan and Kosher certified. It is 97.5% natural according to ISO 16128 Standard. The shelf life of this ingredient is one year (2-year and 3-year stability studies are pending completion).
