Cholesteryl Lanolate. Ecolano™ CLE-S by NIPPON FINE CHEMICAL is an emollient and natural moisturizer. It is an ester of soft lanolin fatty acids and cholesterol. It is similar to essential intercellular lipids. The dispersion enables to form lamella liquid crystals and restores barrier properties to rough skin. It forms a non-sticky and flexible film. This ingredient offers barrier function, lamellar forming ability and water holding property. Ecolano™ CLE-S is used in skin and hair styling products. It can be used as a quasi-drug product. It is listed in IECIC 2014.
