This anteiso fatty acid derivative is a cationic surfactant rich in 18-MEA hair essential lipids. It is a natural and sustainable ingredient obtained from secretion of sheep’s sebaceous glands. It protects from hair damage in dyed or permed hair. It enables to formulate in low pH-areas. Ecolano™ CA-NH is used in hair dye and perming products. It can be used as a quasi-drug product. It is listed in IECIC 2014.
