Ceteth-2. NIKKOL BC-2 (CETETH-2) by NIKKOL GROUP (Nikko Chemicals) is a lipophilic, ether-type nonionic surfactant. It is manufactured by addition polymerization of ethylene oxide to cetanol. It is stable against acid and alkali.
- It may be easier to use than cetanol, especially in less oil systems.
- When used as a co-emulsifier in combination with a hydrophilic surfactant, more stable emulsions can be prepared.
- NIKKOL BC-2 (CETETH-2) is IECIC 2021 certified.
