Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 by MakingCosmetics is an anti-wrinkle-, anti-aging agent and collagen stimulant. It contains palmitoyl tripeptide-38 produced synthetically from the amino acids lysine & methione sulfone. It is derived from the tripeptide KMK naturally found in collagen VI & laminin. It improves appearance of skin, relief fine lines and wrinkles from the inside, particularly on the forehead and crow's feet. It has a matrikine-like effect that stimulates the synthesis of six major proteins including collagen I, II, IV, fibronectin, hyaluronic acid and laminin 5. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 is used in formulating anti-aging- and anti-wrinkle creams and lotions. It is vegan and GMO-free grade. The shelf life is 24 months.
