SilSense® Bio 5 Emollient

C9-12 Alkane. SilSense® Bio 5 Emollient by Lubrizol is a naturally-derived, biodegradable highly pure and volatile emollient to be used as a silicone alternative to Cyclopentasiloxane D5 in leave-on applications, with similar performance and sensory feel. Suitable for color care, skin care, sun care, hair care and hair color. This sustainable silicone won Silver in the 2023 Makeup Bar Award at in-cosmetics® Global, as well as the Ringier Personal Care Technology Convention Innovation Award, 2023.
