Isostearyl Alcohol. Risonol 18SP by Kokyu Alcohol Kogyo is higher alcohol having 2-alkyl-alkanol structure produced by Guerbet reaction. Due to the branched structure, its solidification point is relatively low, although it is saturated as well as color, smell and resistance to oxidation are excellent. Risonol 18SP is good spreadable oil for make-up, lipsticks and emulsions.
