Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 dimethicone (and) Iron Oxides (C.I. 77492) (and) Hexyl Laurate (and) Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate (and) Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate. WE55Y by Kobo Products is a pigment dispersion grade. It contains 55% yellow iron oxide in silicone emulsifiers. The pigment is surface treated with Kobo's patented ITT (Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate) treatment prior to dispersion. This treatment has good skin affinity due to the isostearate surface groups and improves the dispersibility of powder in various organic oils as well as reduces oil absorption of powder. Provides full color development, better stability, improved gloss and ease of use. It is compatible with mineral oil, castor oil, polydecene, octyl palmitate, phenyl trimethicone, isododecane and synthetic wax; slightly compatible with diisopropyl adiapte, cyclomethicone and non-compatible with diwater and dimethicone. WE55Y is recommended for use in emulsions (e.g. liquid and cream foundation, cream-to-powder make-up, concealer, lipstick, mascara and blush). May also be used in anhydrous formulations (e.g. eyeshadow, lipstick and concealer).
