Cellulose (95-99%) (and) Stearoyl Glutamic Acid (2-4%). CELLULOBEADS D-5-ASG3 by Kobo Products acts as a texturing agent. It is a lipophilic-type, surface treated microsphere. Provides a ball-bearing effect, which will impart finished products with increased payoff, an elegant silky texture and enhanced slip for a more natural finish. It is ASG treated that renders powders hydrophobic, helps them disperse easily in anhydrous systems, facilitates color development and gives a creamy feel. When applied on the skin, it imparts a moist feel and promotes skin adhesion. It is a micron-sized spherical particle used in formulas for their ability to scatter light to diminish the look of fine lines on the skin, also known as "optical blurring" or "soft focus" effect. Recommended for emulsions, hot pours, anhydrous gels and powders. CELLULOBEADS D-5-ASG3 enhances skin feel, adhesion and blendability when added to oil phases in formulas.
