SeraSoft® SW 75

Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane. SeraSoft® SW 75 by KCC Basildon (Momentive) acts as a humectant, film forming and foaming agent. It is a water-dispersible silicone glycol copolymer wax. It melts on contact with skin, giving an elegant, smooth, soft and silky feel. In surfactant systems, it improves foam density, quality, and volume, giving a luxurious, creamy lather. It provides moisturization and de-tackification in creams and lotions. Moreover, it has good organic compatibility and can be easily incorporated into the water phase of any formulation. SeraSoft® SW 75 finds application in formulating antiperspirants, deodorants, color cosmetics, foaming cleansers, skincare and sun-care products.
