Diisoamyl Succinate. HallSens™ DIAS by Hallstar is a sensationally light and sustainable emollient. It is 100% plant-derived with a low carbon footprint, formulated from more than 67% upcycled waste.
  • It is synthesized via esterification using renewable succinic acid and isoamyl alcohol.
  • It is a patent-pending, green alternative to synthetically derived feedstocks, cyclomethicone and other silicone-based emollients.
  • HallSens™ DIAS offers a breathable, silky-smooth feel with fast, easy spreadability and non-occlusive hydration.
  • It enhances pigment dispersancy, provides conditioning and detangling benefits, improves hair manageability and shine, reduces frizz, and adds softness, smoothness, and luster to skin and hair.
  • It is used in formulations such as facial creams, makeup, masks, shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments, styling products, body washes, sunscreens, serums, moisturizers, oils, and lotions.
