Caprylyl Methicone. BT-6034 by Guangzhou Batai Chemical acts as a carrier, co-solubilizer, dispersant and cleansing agent. It is a caprylyl branched trisiloxane with low viscosity and surface tension. It disperses dye and pigment and provides excellent spreadability. It offers unique light, smooth and less dry feel. It improves gloss and color intensity in lipsticks. It reduces tackiness and greasy feel of vegetable oils. It lowers surface tension of organic oils and is easy to handle and to formulate. BT-6034 has good compatibility with a wide range of organic ingredients and pigment. It is used in deodorant, antiperspirant, skin care, sun care, color cosmetics, hair care products. It has the shelf life of two years.
