Alguard™ PF

Porphyridium Polysaccharide. Alguard™ PF by Frutarom acts as an anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, anti-redness, anti-microbial, anti-viral, antioxidant, sunscreen and moisturizing agent. It is a polysaccharide solution derived from red microalgae, Porphyridium sp. It is free from chemicals, additives and solvents. It offers three layers of protection; insult guard which protects from oxidative, inflammatory and irritation insults, sun guard which provides protection of skin immune cells from UVB irradiation and micro guard which prevents the adhesion of bacteria into the skin. Alguard™ PF maintains the skin barrier function and hydration. Moreover, it provides ease of usage in most of the formulations. Preserved with phenoxyethanol. Alguard PF has a visible effect from the first application by providing an immediate lifting effect, reducing wrinkle depth and skin roughness.
