Paraffinum Liquidum. Marcol™ 82 by ExxonMobil acts as an emollient and moisturizing agent. It is used as a neutral and protective diluent for cosmetics including essential oil. It is a purified blend of saturated hydrocarbon. It is obtained from petroleum through purification by catalytic hydrogenation. It provides excellent skin compatibility, low irritancy, non-comedogenicity and very good balance between resistance to bacteria and biodegradability, with minimal environmental impact. It offers excellent color and oxidative stability. Marcol™ 82 is suitable for use in cleansing oils & milks, body lotions, creams, suntan lotions, make-up powders, hair, oral and lip care products. It is used in baby products such as shampoos, baby oils & bath oils, bath cubes, anti-perspirant and deodorant sticks.
