Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters. Beautyolea S3 by Eternis Personal Care acts as a secondary surfactant, emulsifier, and co-emulsifier in O/W systems. It is obtained from pure Italian olive oil. It features the emollient and lubricant peculiarities of the precious olive oil to promote an enriching effect. It reduces the irritating action of the compounds of the surfactant system and protects skin and damaged hair. It does not modify the foaming power of the other surfactants. Exhibits thickening effect and good solubilizing power to disperse oil, scents, and liposoluble active principles. It removes make-up in a mild way and gives a very nice after-use feeling on the skin. Offers good skin and eye compliance benefits. Used as an oily compound that permits the absorption of lipophilic active principles in bath and massage formulations. Beautyolea S3 is also used in shampoos, hand soaps, wet wipes, facial cleansers, and natural and traditional bath foams.
