Dimethicone (and) Dimethiconol. MIRASIL™ D-DML MV by Elkem Silicones is a blend of a Dimethiconol gum of very high viscosity at 20% in a low viscosity Dimethicone. It offers exceptional moisturized skin feel and durable water repellency. This easy to handle blend of high molecular weight Dimethiconol imparts a smooth dry feel on the skin and can help to improve water-resistance properties and long-lasting effect in sun care products. It confers antistatic and gloss effects to hair and leaves the hair with a soft, silky feel. MIRASIL™ D-DML MV is used in color cosmetics, shower gels and moisturizing creams & lotions. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months from its date of manufacturing.
