Hydrogenated Polyisobutene. FANCOL® POLYISO® 800-CG by Elementis is a waterproofing agent for cosmetics and toiletries. It is a non-animal origin, long-chain aliphatic hydrocarbon. It shows stability in a very wide pH range. It enhances shine and provides lubricity. It is used as an alternative for mineral oil. FANCOL® POLYISO® 800-CG is used in decorative cosmetics, lipsticks, hair relaxers, hair styling aids, creams, lotions, sunscreen preparations, shave preparations, antiperspirants and setting gels & sprays. It can be formulated with the other FANCOL® POLYISO® CG products to supply an average molecular weight between 200 and 1400. The shelf life of this grade is 3 years.
