Hydrogenated Polyisobutene. FANCOL® POLYISO® 300-CG by Elementis is a waterproofing agent of non-animal origin. It is a long chain aliphatic hydrocarbon and can be used as a substitute for mineral oil. It is stable in a very wide pH range. It offers shine and lubricity. It can be formulated with the other FANCOL® POLYISO® CG products to supply an average molecular weight between 200 and 1400. FANCOL® POLYISO® 300-CG is recommended for decorative cosmetics, lipsticks, hair relaxers, hair styling aids, creams, lotions, sunscreen, shave preparations, antiperspirants, setting gels and sprays. The shelf life of this grade is 3 years.
