Supershield HD 100

1,2-Hexanediol. Supershield HD 100 by Ecoori is a multifunctional ingredient which acts as a preservative booster, solvent, humectant and moisturizing agent. It helps to disperse pigments in cosmetic products. The preservative-free grade exhibits anti-bacterial property, allowing the reduction of conventional preservatives dosage. It shows strong efficacy against gram positive- & gram negative bacteria whereas weak efficacy against yeast & mold. It stabilizes lipophilic active ingredients such as fragrances in aqueous solutions. Supershield HD 100 is recommended for personal care formulations such as shampoos, liquid soaps, shaving creams and wash products. The shelf life is 12 months.
