Ciclopirox Olamine. EcoGard™ CPO by Ecochem acts as an anti-dandruff and anti-microbial agent. It is a synthetic broad-spectrum antifungal agent of the hydroxypyridone class with significant antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity. EcoGard™ CPO inhibits pathogenic dermatophytes, molds and yeasts, including Malassezia furfur associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. Used in hair- and skin care.
