Phenethyl Alcohol. Phenethylalcohol nat. by Dr. Straetmans (Evonik) acts as a masking agent. It is a plant derived, water soluble product with rose like scent and good antimicrobial activity. The combination with boosting agents is recommendable in emulsions and the performance is pH independent. Phenethylalcohol nat. is suitable for water-based products, wet wipes and color cosmetics. It is used in face-, body-, sun-, hand-, foot-, eye-, lip- and oral care applications.
