Hydroxyethylcellulose. Cellosize™ QP 4400H Hydroxyethyl Cellulose by Dow is an effective film-former, thickener, binder, dispersant and stabilizer. It is a medium molecular weight cellulosic polymer, compatible over a wide pH range. It provides protective colloid action, outstanding tolerance for dissolved electrolytes and suspends and stabilizes film-forming agents. It helps to prepare solutions with a wide range of viscosities. It delivers pseudo-plastic rheology to end-use products. It is rapidly dispersible in cold water. It is used in shampoos, hair sprays, neutralizers, creams and lotions. Cellosize™ QP 4400H Hydroxyethyl Cellulose is recommended for leave-on and rinse-off conditioners.
