Hydrogenated Polydecene (and) Polyquaternium-37 (and) Trideceth-6. VisCaress™ HPD by Croda is a cationic rheology modifier, emulsion stabilizer, emulsifier and gelling agent. This quaternary ammonium compound is derived from petrochemical and free from EDTA, preservative and BHT/BHA. It is suitable for low pH system. It offers sensory benefits characterized by medium flow properties.
- It is temperature and freeze/thaw stable, and contains hydrogenated polydecene, which imparts a silky skin feel.
- It can self-emulsify up to 20% oil and/or silicone, is suitable for both hot and cold processing, and features shear-thinning and non-thixotropic rheology.
