Polysorbate 80. Tween™ 80 by Croda is a biodegradable solubilizer, solvent, dispersant, O/W emulsifier, surfactant and dispersing agent. It is often used in conjuction with the appropriate span. It possesses good solubilizing properties.
- It is recommended in systems with unsaturated lipid components such as oleyl alcohol and vegetable triglycerides.
- Tween™ 80 is used in bath, shower, soaps, after sun, body care, eye contour care, face/neck skin care, face color, facial cleansers, hair conditioners - rinse off, shampoos, sun protection, hair care and color cosmetics.
