Span™ 40

Sorbitan Palmitate. Span™ 40 by Croda is an O/W co-emulsifier, emulsion stabilizer, pigment wetter, surfactant and dispersing agent. It possesses a wax-like structure that is useful where rigidity is needed in lipophilic compositions.

• It is used in antiperspirants, deodorants, bath, shower and soaps, rinse-off conditioners, sun protection and tanning products.
• Also, used in body-, lip-, eye contour- and face/neck skin care products and eye-, face- and lip color formulations.
• Span™ 40 is approved natural by Ecocert and Vegan suitable.
