Elixi-CARE BG

Butylene Glycol. Elixi-CARE BG by Connect Chemicals is a solvent, humectant and dispersant of essential oils and pigments. It acts as a clarifier in formulas containing surfactants and has a mild moisturizing action. It offers good antimicrobial properties, fragrance enhancement, high purity, excellent solubilizing properties and wetting properties. It is usually used in aqueous systems or emulsions to retain water to avoid the drying of the product. It can also be used to increase plasticity and reduce the possibility of breakage in anhydrous systems.
