Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate (and) Aqua (and) Methylchloroisothiazolinone. Medialan® LD by Clariant is a plant-based, anionic, mild surfactant. Exhibits good cleansing action with relatively weak degreasing.
  • It is best combined as mild co-surfactant with alkyl ether suphates.
  • Used as a foaming agent in dental care preparations especially in toothpastes.
  • Also exhibits good skin and mucous membrane compatibility, good odor, taste neutrality and interesting synergistic properties.
  • It depends on the pH of the finished product and is cold processable, easy to use, electrolyte tolerant and foam booster.
  • Medialan® LD is suitable for clear formulations.
  • Also used in shower, liquid soap, shampoo, wet wipe and hair styling products.
