Hostapur® SAS 60

Sodium C14-17 Alkyl Sec Sulfonate. Hostapur® SAS 60 by Clariant acts as a detergent base and surfactant. It possesses good wetting properties and a high degreasing effect. It shows very good solubility, viscosity-dressing action, grease- and soil-dispersing action. It exhibits chemical stability over a wide pH range and increases the action of modern detergent additives. It is compatible with the electrolyte and enzyme. It can be used in combination with anionic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants. It has low aquatic toxicity with less impact on the environment. Hostapur® SAS 60 finds application in formulating bubble baths, shower gels, shampoos, face- and personal care cleansing products.
