Capryloyl/Caproyl Methyl Glucamide. GlucoTain® Clear by Clarient is a surfactant. It is a GMO-, EO- and PEG-free, a sugar-based product with good solubilizing properties for perfumes, essential oils and preservatives. It offers formulations a boost through light and fluffy foam with high volume, easy rinse-off and a squeaky-clean skin feel. It creates new possibilities for formulators to go the next step in developing innovative products and platforms based on sulfate-free, CAPB-free and betaine-free formulations for a wide range of applications. GlucoTain® Clear is suitable for all skin types, it provides an ideal solution for refreshing, vitalizing shower products & shampoos, wet wipes, hand wash, 2-in-1 shower and hair products. It is a readily biodegradable product with a high content of non-tropical biomass, and a good ecotox profile. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
