It is a natural preservative. It is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the plant. This ingredient is rich in terpinen-4-ol. CitroEssential Tea Tree oil is used in creams, lotions, antiseptic soaps and shampoos, cleansers for oily skin and make-up removers, after-shaving, post-depilatory, deodorants, shampoos for oily hair and/or with dandruff, as well as aid in the removal of excessive oiliness.
