Chondrus Crispus Extract. Satiagel™ VPC 614 by Cargill is a readily biodegradable, anionic texturizer and gelling agent with film forming properties. It is a warm processable and thermoreversible ingredient. It offers smoothing, tensing, firmness and pore reduction benefits. It is based on kappa carrageenan extracted from red seaweed and made from natural polysaccharides.
