Cocoa Butter Ethyl Esters. CocoaDesign™ L by Cargill is a non-comedogenic, biodegradable emollient. It is light dry oil used as sunscreen solubilizer. It provides a cocooning, enjoyable, pleasurable and relaxing feel. It increases hydration and enhances the skin barrier function. It delivers silky, smooth feel with good spreadability, good pigment wetting and dispersion stability. It also complements light texture formulations.
- It is derived from sustainable cocoa butter which is hydraulically pressed and refined.
- It is used in skin care, color cosmetics, cleanser, sun care and hair care application.
- It is compatible with avobenzone, ethylhexyl triazone, oxybenzone, octyl salicylate, homosalate 9 and is highly compatible with other emollients (silicones, esters, triglycerides), alcohol and surfactants.
- It has a shelf life of 2 years.
- CocoaDesign™ L is Ecocert COSMOS approved and Vegan suitable grade.
