Bentonite. GELWHITE® -H XR by BYK is a high-purity rheology additive and thixotropic gelling agent in aqueous systems. It is gamma irradiation sterilized version of GELWHITE®-H. It is obtained from selectively mined, extremely pure mineral deposits by means of a unique process providing unequalled whiteness and brightness. Gels produced by it are resistant to oxidation and microbial degradation.
- It has excellent anti-settling and stabilizing properties.
- It is free of VOC, biocides, preservatives, CMR, dimethyl fumarate, formaldehyde, formaldehyde releaser, PAH, phthalates, APEO and PFAS.
- It is purely inorganic and stable against diluted acids and bases.
- It is highly compatible with anionic and nonionic surfactants.
- It is recommended for sunscreen, antiperspirants, deodorants, facial masks, bath and shower gels, liquid makeup, blush, eye makeup, hair care, hair styling product, creams and lotions.
- GELWHITE® -H XR is vegan certified and complies with REACH, EINECS, TSCA, PICCS, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC, ECSI and Natrue approved.
- It has a shelf life of 36 months.
