1,2-Hexanediol (and) 1,2-Octanediol. Novaguard™ HCG by Novaphene Specialities distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in Europe (except Greece) is a moisturizing- and antibacterial agent. It is a multifunctional blend with moisturizing and antimicrobial properties. It is compatible with most formulation systems and acts as a preservative booster with humectant functionality.

• It reduces andor and eliminate preservatives like parabens, isothiazolinones and phenoxyethanol.
• It is an odorless solvent for active ingredients.
