Macare® G-2C

Glycerth-2-cocoate. Macare® G-2C by Pilot Chemical and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US, Canada and Mexico acts as an emollient, thickening, foam boosting, stabilizing and solubilizing agent. It is a 2-mole ethoxylated fatty acid monoglyceride based on the renewable vegetable components found in coconut oil. It is non-irritating, readily biodegradable and eco-friendly surfactant.

• It is compatible with anionic, amphoteric, cationic and non-ionic surfactants.
• It is not affected by hard water and stable in aqueous solutions in the pH range of 4-8.
• Exhibits superior thickening properties in both AES and non-AES formulations.
• It is diethanolamine and nitrosamine free, and low aquatic toxicology.
• It effectively emulsifies o/w systems such as silicones and paraffinic oils.
• Used in wide range of products including shampoos, mild skin cleaners, soaps and shave gels, skin lotions and bath oils.
• Macare® G-2C complies with TSCA, FIFRA, DSL, AICS, ENCS and ECL.
