Pentylene Glycol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Decylene Glycol. Iscaguard® DGP by ISCA UK and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in UK, Ireland and Poland is a paraben-, thiazolinone-, preservative- & formaldehyde-free, preservative blend. It minimizes water loss from the skin. This multi-functional ingredient is a blend of glycolic emollients which are used to improve the skin and hair conditioning properties. It imparts a soft & silky feel to end products. This ingredient also possesses intrinsic antimicrobial properties. It can be used to create self-preserving formulations. Iscaguard® DGP is recommended for shampoo & shower gel (rinse-off), creams & lotions (leave-on), O/W- & W/O emulsions, wet wipes, eye- & lip care and children under 3.
