BELSIL® DM 100

Dimethicone. BELSIL® DM 100 by Wacker and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in North America is a linear, non-reactive and unmodified polydimethylsiloxane. It acts as an emollient. Exhibits low surface tension and a high spreading coefficient.

• It minimizes stickiness and whitening.
• It imparts a hydrophobic, protective and breathable barrier to the skin.
• Due to their flexible polymer backbone, dimethicones have high permeability to gases (water vapor & oxygen), which allows respiration of the skin.
• It is used in antiperspirants/ deodorants, color cosmetics, shaving, skin care and sunscreens.
• It is designed for use in eye- & lip make-up and foundations.
