BELSIL® DM 5

Dimethicone. BELSIL® DM 5 by Wacker and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in North America is a linear, non-reactive, unmodified polydimethylsiloxane. It has low surface tension and a high spreading coefficient. It imparts a hydrophobic, protective but breathable barrier to the skin, simultaneously minimizing stickiness.

• It reduces whitening and imparts a soft emolliency to the skin.
• It has better spreading properties and can be easily distributed on the skin.
• Due to its flexible polymer backbone, it has high permeability to gases which allows respiration of the skin.
• BELSIL® DM 5 is used in eye-, lip make-up, foundations, skin care and sunscreen.
