Dimethicone. BELSIL® DM 350 by Wacker and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in North America is an emollient. It is a linear, non-reactive, unmodified polydimethylsiloxane. Exhibits low surface tension and high spreading coefficient. Due to its flexible polymer backbone, it has high permeability to gases (e.g. water, vapor, oxygen), which allows respiration of the skin.
