Capryloyl Salicylic Acid. iACTIVE CSA by BIOALKEMIA is an ester form of salicylic acid that is a BHA and works as an exfoliant. The salicylic acid is used to improve skin thickness and collagen production. It is used as a skin conditioning agent that enhances the appearance of damaged skin by removing dead cells and dryness as it reduces the flaking and restores the elasticity. It also functions as a preservative and has been categorized as an anti-inflammatory and an antimicrobial. It acts as an anti-aging, anti-wrinkle and anti-acne agent and effective whitener/lightner for skincare. It helps in reducing irritation and inflammation to skin that has been caused by both endogenous and environmental agents. In haircare, it controls dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis of the scalp. It improves the texture of the hair that has been physically or chemically damaged. It is used in astringents, toners, acne creams, facial scrubs & cleansers, moisturizers, shampoos and conditioners. iACTIVE CSA has a shelf life of 3 years.
