Butyrospermum Parkii Butter. Jarplex™ SB45 by aurorium acts as a moisturizing and protective agent. It is a semi-solid vegetable fat extracted from the fruit of the shea tree. It has a melt point of 45°C but is soft at room temperature. Jarplex™ SB45 has excellent temperature stability and crystallization properties. Designed to provide attractive skin feel for super-high shea content (>75%) formulations. Jarplex™ SB45 provides great flexibility in maximizing shea loading and functional skin benefits while providing a softer feel. Due to its high amount of unsaponifiable matter, it provides skin protection against weather, sun, and aging. It is recommended for lotions & creams, body butters, anti-aging and sun care products.
