Hexyldecanol. Jarcol™ I-16CG by aurorium is an emollient, super fattening-, dispersing agent for color pigments and lubricant. It is a clear, high purity, colorless, and medium-spreading grade with low viscosity. Jarcol™I-16 CG has extremely low melting point (-21 to -15°C) and low odor compared to other linear alcohols, making it highly functional for color and fragrance sensitive applications. It has a lighter feel than the traditionally-used octyldodecanol and can be used as a raw material for biodegradable surfactants. Jarcol™ I-16CG is recommended for color cosmetics, washing lotions and foam baths.
