Jarcane™ 18

Octadecane. Jarcane™ 18 by aurorium acts as a solvent, texture improver, viscosity modifier, moisturizer, emollient, wax additive and solubilizer. It is a high purity, vegetable-derived paraffin made from renewable resources like natural fatty acids or natural fatty acid methyl esters. It has hydrophobic properties. Jarcane™ 18 is commonly used as an alternative to silicones and non-polar solvents. It is very stable and is fast absorbing with a light skin feel and leaves skin normal to the touch after application. It offers reduced oily and greasiness. It provides improved coverage, consistency and pigment wetting in cosmetics as well as enhanced color stability. It is compatible with silicones, UV filters and lipophilic systems. It is recommended for creams & lotions, color cosmetics, hair conditioners, shampoos, treatments and styling, deodorants, sun care creams and lotions, makeup remover, body wash and hand cleansers/soaps.
