Jarcane™ 14

Tetradecane. Jarcane™ 14 by aurorium acts as a solvent, texture improver, viscosity modifier, moisturizer, emollient, wax additive and solubilizer. It is a high purity vegetable-derived paraffin, made from renewable resources like natural fatty acids or natural fatty acid methyl esters. Due to its light and easy spreading nature, this product can also be used as an alternative to silicones, isohexadecane, non-polar solvents, oils or wax additives. It is very stable and fast-absorbing with a light skin feel and leaves skin normal to the touch after application. It offers reduced oily and greasiness. It can improve the coverage, consistency and pigment wetting in cosmetics as well as enhance color stability. It is compatible with silicones, UV filters and lipophilic systems. It is recommended for creams & lotions, color cosmetics, hair conditioners, shampoos, treatments and styling. Jarcane™ 14 is suitable for deodorants, sun care creams and lotions, makeup remover, body wash and hand cleansers/soaps.
